Smart sheets
While transmitting maximum visible light in transparent and colored sheets, the Solar Smart technology blocks the infrared (IR) wavelength, thereby preventing indoor heating. Flat and hollow sheets are the best choices for use in roof windows, glass skylights (patio), bus stations, greenhouse and all buildings requiring much light, and low heat.
The design of polycarbonate sheets is of great importance aesthetically and also in terms of energy saving for interior lighting. The transmission of IR light through the conventional polycarbonate sheets increases the interior temperature in buildings and greenhouses. This technology can be used to block IR transmission, particularly in hot regions with high insolation. This, in turn, significantly reduces air ventilation costs. Using sunlight greatly helps to make the environment healthier and more efficient.
Applications of smart sheets
The aim of covering greenhouses is to isolate indoor air from outdoor air to provide favorable conditions for the growth of plants. This external cover should be sufficiently transparent to transmit sunlight in the wavelength range suitable for photosynthesis. It also should have good insulation properties to reduce heating costs and energy consumption in greenhouses.
