Triangular triple-walled sheets
This class of hollow sheets has much higher strength, impact strength, and better insulation properties than plain double-walled and triple-walled sheets. The improved properties can be attributed to the X-shaped structure between internal networks of this type of sheet, leading to a 50% improvement in its mechanical properties. Consequently, this type of sheet has a higher tensile strength against severe hails and winds, and also bear higher static loads (for example, snow) in comparison with other hollow sheets. While having all advantages of multi-walled polycarbonate sheets, triangular three-walled polycarbonate sheets have the following unique features:

These sheets have a high load-bearing capacity per square meter. For instance, a 16 mm triangular sheet in a standard 1 m2 frame can withstand up to 600 kg.
